Description
• This role is a Staff Backend Engineer responsible for backend, storage, and scaling solutions • Highly capable of communicating with other engineers • Focused on product engineering - marketplace, product pages, onboarding flows, seller home page, user hub • Owning a multi month roadmap, preparing tickets for sprints, reporting KPIs, interviewing candidates • Programming and bringing concepts to life with speed and quality
Requirements
• Very experienced with Ruby / Rails or Python / Django • Very experienced with relational datastores • Experience with GraphQL • Successfully led a reasonably sized project with a group of 4+ engineers • Ability to create and communicate alignment with product, engineering, and growth teams • Experience working on extremely high quality consumer products
