Descrição

• Process tax notices and keep accurate records in the tracking system • Communicate directly with federal, state, and local tax authorities to resolve issues • Monitor and resolve tax tickets in Zendesk and keep the tax compliance calendar ahead of deadlines • Calculate and make quarterly estimated and extension tax payments • Prepare and file personal property tax returns and support California environmental fee workpapers • Partner with Payroll on payroll tax filings and with AP to book tax payments correctly • Review monthly sales tax returns for accuracy and document tax processes • Use AI tools to speed up tax notice processing, research, and deadline tracking • Report to the Tax Manager

🎯 Requisitos

• 2+ years in a tax or accounting role • High accuracy and strong attention to detail • Clear written and verbal communicator across functions • Comfortable in a support role juggling multiple client-facing responsibilities • Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate or optimize workflows • Bachelor's in Tax, Accounting, or a related field • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation • Bonus: experience in a multi-entity or multi-state tax environment
