Descrição

• Lead the architecture, build, and evolution of secure, scalable cloud platforms supporting federal mission needs • Own cloud Infrastructure-as-Code standards and implementation using Terraform or similar tools • Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and repeatable software delivery • Define and track reliability practices, including SLIs, SLOs, monitoring, alerting, and observability • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems for production issues, driving lasting fixes • Build automation to reduce manual work, improve system resilience, and speed delivery • Design runbooks and procedures for troubleshooting, maintenance, and disaster recovery • Evaluate emerging technologies through prototypes and proofs of concept • Partner with development, architecture, security, and product teams on integrated, production-ready solutions • Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and platform decisions • Mentor and guide engineers while establishing platform engineering standards and best practices

🎯 Requisitos

• Applicants MUST BE US Citizens and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 9+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, including technical leadership • Experience working with governance processes, technical standards, formal change management, or shared enterprise services • Ability to identify dependencies and articulate resource needs, tradeoffs, risks, and decisions for product leadership • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, Git, Linux, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI • Proven experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform or similar tools • Experience designing and operating workloads in a cloud environment (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure considered) • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatchcf • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or Go) • Working knowledge of databases and SQL • Experience troubleshooting production systems, performance tuning, and leading root cause analysis • Understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure infrastructure principles • Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills
