Descrição

• Set the technical bar for judgment, architectural thinking, and operational excellence across the organization • Own the technical strategy for responding to, learning from, and preventing critical incidents • Serve as the designated escalation point during P1/P2 events • Make high-stakes, risk-informed decisions protecting customer uptime and trust • Own the most complex customer stacks • Shape automation direction and infrastructure architecture decisions with regional and business-wide impact • Influence the evolution of Splunk Cloud operational processes • Partner with Engineering, Customer Success, Release Management, Account Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders • Provide authoritative guidance on complex configurations, upgrades, feature rollouts, migrations, and operational management • Translate customer insights into measurable improvements to the cloud service experience • Build frameworks that prevent recurrence and close operational process and runbook gaps • Raise the technical capabilities of senior engineers and grow senior technical talent without a formal management mandate

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of related experience, or Master’s degree plus 8 years, or PhD plus 5 years • 7+ years of experience in SRE, cloud operations, and systems engineering with Linux administration • 6+ years of hands-on experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure • 5+ years of experience in a scripting or automation language such as Python or Go/Golang • 5+ years of experience communicating across engineering, customer-facing, and senior leadership audiences • 4+ years of experience leading post-mortems and root cause analysis for high-severity events • Experience driving systemic improvements and closing process gaps • Track record managing high-severity customer escalations and critical production issues across AWS, GCP, and Azure • Enterprise-scale experience spanning architecture, deployment, infrastructure changes, migrations, and operational management • Experience with Linux systems administration and large-scale distributed systems architecture • Experience operating and improving monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms • Exceptional communication and technical leadership skills • Prior experience in customer-facing technical advisory roles such as Professional Services, Global Services, or Technical Account Management
