Descrição

• Build, deploy, and maintain security controls across Deepgram’s bare-metal fleet and AWS footprint • Own configuration management and host hardening as code with Ansible across hundreds of Linux hosts • Secure Docker container workloads, image build pipelines, registries, runtime environments, and secrets • Run vulnerability management from discovery and prioritization through remediation tracking and reporting • Own patch and update management for servers, endpoints, base images, operating systems, packages, firmware, and dependencies • Manage the penetration testing lifecycle, including scoping, vendor selection, scheduling, remediation tracking, retesting, and customer-facing summaries • Write detections, tune noise, participate in incident response, and improve logging, telemetry, and security-agent coverage • Run periodic log and access reviews and automate evidence collection • Automate compliance evidence collection for SOC 2, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001 and support audit fieldwork • Harden GitHub Actions CI/CD and the software supply chain through scanning, action pinning, SBOMs, signing, and least-privilege OIDC • Apply AI and agentic tooling to security work and help secure company AI usage • Provide technical input for customer security questionnaires, architecture answers, penetration-test summaries, and self-hosted hardening guidance • Report to the Director of Information Security

🎯 Requisitos

• Solid experience in security engineering or infrastructure engineering with a security focus • Deep Linux experience, including hardening, debugging, users and sudo, SSH, systemd, kernel and package updates, host firewalls, and host-based agents • Ansible at fleet scale is required • Strong scripting with Python and/or Go, plus shell competence • Production experience securing Docker containers and build pipelines • Hands-on experience securing GitHub and GitHub Actions, including branch protection, CODEOWNERS, workflow permissions, secrets, and third-party action risk • Experience running vulnerability and patch management as an ongoing program • Experience managing third-party penetration tests • Hands-on involvement in at least one formal audit: ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or SOC 2 • Comfortable using AI coding and agentic tools in daily work and understanding prompt injection, secret leakage, and supply chain exposure • Pragmatic approach to security controls • Ability to work in the United States and answer work authorization and visa sponsorship questions • Nice to have: datacenter or colocation experience • Nice to have: detection engineering or SIEM/HIDS ownership at scale • Nice to have: HashiCorp Vault • Nice to have: AWS security and Terraform • Nice to have: Kubernetes security • Nice to have: offensive security background • Nice to have: PCI DSS work in a cardholder data environment • Nice to have: secure SDLC ownership • Nice to have: GPU infrastructure, ML platforms, or multi-tenant inference workloads • Nice to have: OSCP, GIAC, CISSP, or AWS Security Specialty certifications
