Descrição

• Architect, build, and ship features across the cybersecurity platform • Focus on backend services, automation, and systems while contributing across the stack • Build and maintain integrations with external services • Design and deliver secure, well-tested, maintainable code • Investigate and resolve production issues • Participate in on-call support • Strengthen monitoring and reliability • Improve tests, interfaces, observability, and operational simplicity • Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and planning • Own features end to end from problem understanding through technical specification, implementation, testing, and production operation • Collaborate with the Director of Engineering, lead, other engineers, and product team • Use AI tools for research, implementation, testing, and review while applying engineering judgment • Contribute to technical design, identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and improve outcomes

🎯 Requisitos

• 5+ years of professional, hands-on software engineering experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining production software and systems • Strong in at least one of Go or Node.js and willing to work across both • Meaningful experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL • Comfortable with infrastructure and operations, not just application code • Strong written communication and ability to think clearly about technical tradeoffs • Thoughtful approach to security, especially security-adjacent experience • Experience using modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows • Ability to pick up new languages and systems quickly • Ability to work in the Portland, Maine area or remotely; preference for U.S.-based candidates who can occasionally visit headquarters
