Descrição

• Develop industry, product, and roadmap understanding to shape team strategy and organizational direction • Lead end-to-end technical execution of complex features and systems from ideation and architecture through deployment and refinement • Define and enforce engineering principles, guidelines, and best practices • Drive Android platform decisions and serve the Android and mobile ecosystem for Fanatics apps through Kotlin Multiplatform • Partner with product, design, and stakeholders on high-impact technical decisions aligned with business goals and scalability • Share best practices, code, and entire features across multiple apps with iOS and Android leaders • Lead incident resolution through the on-call rotation • Identify and remove roadblocks across teams • Conduct and elevate code reviews • Steer team planning and design discussions and optimize design patterns • Improve software quality, testability, operational metrics, and documentation • Mentor and coach engineers at all levels • Attend occasional travel to Fanatics offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team-building activities

🎯 Requisitos

• 10+ years of experience building highly scalable, performant Android apps • Excellence in Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform, and other Android technologies • Demonstrated ability to drive consensus and mentor others in coding and architectural strategies • Systems-level functional knowledge or experience with Backend Client API, Platform Engineering, and client-supporting systems in Marketing and Analytics • Knowledge of observability practices, including logging, monitoring, and tracing in native apps • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to engineers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders • Team-first mentality and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done • Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment with evolving priorities • Preferred: experience sharing code across native and cross-platform apps • Preferred: experience with webviews and stitching coherent app experiences across technologies • Preferred: experience in sports, e-commerce, or gaming • Preferred: ability to work in diverse legacy and greenfield codebases, languages, and environments
