Descrição

• Design and architect modules and feature areas for Wholesale Electricity Market Management applications • Lead technical design discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and design reviews • Collaborate with engineering, project, and customer teams to deliver solutions • Define scope, estimate effort, and establish project timelines with the Project Manager • Evaluate technology options based on analysis, risk, and technical fit • Ensure scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with product architecture and standards • Develop expertise in the overall MMS solution and module interactions • Design interfaces and information exchange between modules and systems • Own code quality, performance, and technical deliverables throughout the project lifecycle • Provide technical leadership in an Agile environment and guide a team of 5–7 developers as needed • Promote standardization, reuse, and limited customization of product capabilities • Define requirements, manage changes, and support successful delivery with customers and internal stakeholders • Mentor team members and support complex customer implementations • Document technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects and production concerns

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university or college • 8 years of professional experience in Market Management Systems (MMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), or a technical lead role in the electric utility industry • 6 years of experience working with or for an Independent System Operator (ISO), market participant, or wholesale electricity market vendor • Strong understanding of Market Management Systems, including Unit Commitment and Economic Dispatch • Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in Market Management System applications • Knowledge of power system applications and/or optimization techniques • Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS • Experience deploying applications in on-premises and/or cloud environments • Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including GitOps, CI/CD, and source control management • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible • Understanding of Java programming concepts, Spring Boot, TypeScript or JavaScript, and RESTful APIs is a plus • Exposure to Kafka, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies is a plus • Familiarity with Splunk, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and Jaeger is a plus • Strong ownership and accountability across the full task lifecycle • Ability to independently gather information and work across multiple resources and stakeholders • Strong analytical and debugging skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Legally authorized to work in the United States
