Descrição

• Design, construct, test, and debug technical solutions in compliance with engineering standards • Provide effort estimates and accomplish tasks within defined schedules • Identify and recommend solutions for system and process deficiencies • Take full responsibility for implementing project parts, including new projects • Resolve high-complexity development issues • Assist in enforcing development deadlines and schedules • Facilitate task prioritization for junior staff • Lead complex IBM i/RPG development and modernization efforts • Troubleshoot production issues • Contribute to architecture and design discussions • Ensure solutions are maintainable, secure, supportable, and aligned with MEDHOST engineering standards • Coach and mentor less experienced developers • Perform other duties as required to support organizational needs

🎯 Requisitos

• Master's Degree in a related computer or engineering field with 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience • 7+ years of commercial product development experience • Proficiency in more than one of: RPG & CL, DB2 SQL, SQL Procedure and User Defined Functions • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles • Experience with agile software development in a geographically distributed environment • Past technical responsibility for shipping a software product; consulting experience not considered • Comprehensive understanding of unit, system, integration, and performance testing • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others • Knowledge of cross-platform development recommended • Experience with software version control required • Deep experience with RPGLE/RPG IV, CL, Db2 for i, SQL, IBM i application development, JSON, REST integrations, secure development, Agile delivery, and controlled change management • Expected to adopt approved AI-enabled development tools • Knowledge of the MEDHOST PIF system is a plus • Candidates may be asked to deliver a short technical presentation during the interview process
