Descrição

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for software solutions enabling access to and management of in-home care services • Design, build, and maintain reliable, high-performance Ruby on Rails services • Support and enhance existing products and applications while balancing feature development with legacy modernization • Own end-to-end development of revenue-driving features that scale the platform • Optimize database queries and API performance for speed, efficiency, and availability • Contribute to architectural improvements and technical design discussions • Participate in a shared on-call rotation to maintain system health • Improve code quality, testing, and deployment practices • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or HHAeXchange leader • Travel 10–25%, including overnight travel

🎯 Requisitos

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade Ruby on Rails applications • Strong proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles • Proficient in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing maintainable, well-tested code • Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services including ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CircleCI • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization • Comfortable working in Agile development environments • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience scaling multi-tenant SaaS platforms preferred • Experience supporting legacy systems and greenfield product development preferred • Exposure to GraphQL APIs and domain-driven design preferred • Familiarity with Datadog, New Relic, or Scout APM preferred • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based orchestration preferred • Knowledge of Resque or Sidekiq preferred • Candidates must be located within the EST or CST time zones within the United States
