Descrição

• Lead and support delivery of substation physical design projects • Ensure technical excellence and on-time performance • Partner with internal engineering groups and external clients to understand needs and align expectations • Perform QA/QC reviews on substation physical design packages • Read, design, and review one-lines, three-lines, plan-and-section views, grounding layouts, and foundation designs • Create and verify bills of materials for substation physical components • Conduct site visits at customer locations to gather data, validate designs, and support project execution • Comply with quality control and safe work practices • Maintain compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget • Work as part of a design team of engineers, designers, and CAD technicians • Apply client standards to implement designs

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • 8+ years of substation physical design experience • Experience performing grounding studies, lightning protection analysis, and lighting studies • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and clients • Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized in fast-paced or high-pressure situations • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide leadership when needed • Self-starter able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision • Strong analytical abilities and engineering problem-solving skills • High level of computer competency and comfort working with engineering tools and software • Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations as needed • Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) professional certification (additional) • Professional Engineer (PE) License (additional) • Working knowledge of protection and control design (additional) • Experience with bus calculation (additional) • Experience with WinIGS or CDEGS (additional) • Master’s degree in related field (additional)
