Descrição

• Serve as a first responder for enterprise security alerts and perform triage • Investigate confirmed incidents to root cause using host, network, identity, and cloud log analysis • Produce incident documentation covering timelines, indicators, actions, and findings • Execute containment and eradication steps and participate in post-incident reviews • Participate in the security on-call rotation • Write, tune, and maintain SIEM queries and correlation rules • Validate raw log parsing, identify coverage gaps, and tune alerts to reduce false positives • Support onboarding of new log sources and contribute to MITRE ATT&CK-mapped detection content • Operate vulnerability scanning across servers, endpoints, and cloud workloads • Prioritize findings, coordinate remediation, track issues to closure, and report vulnerability posture • Administer and tune the EDR platform, including policies, exclusions, agent health, detections, and endpoint coverage • Apply AWS cloud security practices across IAM, logging, monitoring, and security posture management • Configure and monitor CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Config, integrating findings into the SIEM • Review AWS configurations against baselines and CIS Benchmarks and support secure workload design • Support SSO, MFA, conditional access, access reviews, certification campaigns, and privileged-access remediation in Microsoft Entra ID • Perform security risk assessments and contribute to the technology risk register • Support third-party risk assessments, customer security questionnaires, and ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS Controls audits • Collaborate with the Lead Cybersecurity Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, IT, Engineering, Operations, and Cybersecurity Manager • Contribute to security awareness content and provide practical guidance to the wider business

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a security operations, security analyst, or cybersecurity specialist role • Experience performing incident response, including alert triage, investigation to root cause, and written documentation of findings • Hands-on SIEM experience, including writing and tuning queries and working directly with log data • Practical vulnerability management experience, including risk-based prioritization and coordinating remediation with system owners • Working experience with EDR platforms, including custom rule creation and analysis of endpoint telemetry • Strong working knowledge of AWS services and core cloud security practices, including IAM, logging, monitoring, and posture management • Applied understanding of identity and access management, including SSO, MFA, and least-privilege access models • Experience performing or materially contributing to security risk assessments • Clear technical writing • Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux and associated security controls • Scripting and query ability using Python, PowerShell, KQL, or SPL • Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS Controls • Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, GIAC (GSEC, GCIH, or GCIA), CompTIA CySA+ or Security+, or Microsoft SC-200 • Preferred experience in energy, utilities, industrial, OT/ICS, battery energy storage, renewable energy, or grid-scale infrastructure • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, or Microsoft Purview is preferred
