Descrição

• Support pre-trial litigation from initial file assignment through trial and post-trial procedures • Prepare necessary legal documentation • Obtain and prepare pertinent defense information • Advise clients and claims personnel on legal issues • Represent insureds and the Company before courts, arbitration panels, or administrative bodies in the defense of personal injury lawsuits • Supervise and direct subordinate legal staff, including paralegals, secretaries, transcriptionists, and support specialists • Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned work • Provide trial support, handle depositions and trial documents, prepare law and motion documents, appear at law and motion and other court hearings, conduct research, and review medical records • Develop knowledge of pre-trial litigation, including case evaluation through trial and post-trial procedures

🎯 Requisitos

• Law degree required • Admission to the bar in the state(s) where practicing required • Effective communication, persuasion, writing, and analytical skills • Ability to work independently with minimal direction • Good organizational skills • Considerable automobile travel, up to 20% of work time • Must meet company standards regarding personal driving history and current license status • One-plus years as a licensed attorney with insurance defense experience or equivalent relative experience preferred • 1st and 2nd chair trial experience is a plus • Exceptional communication and analytical skills preferred
