Descrição

• Coordinate solicitations and contracting activities for purchasing equipment and services for forest conservation, wildfire resilience, land and watershed restoration, and recreation projects • Ensure compliance with NFF contracting and procurement policies, funding terms and conditions, and 2 CFR 200 throughout the procurement and contract lifecycle • Work with field staff to develop sourcing strategies for equipment and services • Assist in developing and reviewing solicitations, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs • Review requests for new contracts and amendments, supporting documentation, terms, and conditions for compliance • Draft revisions to contracts and amendments and lead negotiations in partnership with field staff • Proactively engage field staff, the Contracts and Procurement Attorney, and other stakeholders on sourcing and contract matters • Handle contract approvals and signature workflows • Ensure contract data is correctly documented and maintained • Update and maintain contract and solicitation templates • Serve as a partner, mentor, and liaison to field staff throughout the procurement and contracting process • Train, mentor, or assist program staff as needed

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification • At least three years of experience in contract administration and compliance, contract management, procurement and acquisition, or related fields • Strong attention to detail and commitment to process • Knowledge and comfort with contracting and procurement using federal and nonfederal funds • Meaningful experience with 2 CFR 200, FAR, or similar regulations • Working understanding of risk management through financial security and insurance • Ability to synthesize or translate technical requirements into lay terminology • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and prioritize effectively • Ability to understand field program staff needs and balance them with NFF policies and funding agreement requirements • Strong customer service, troubleshooting, and creative problem-solving skills • Ability to work well under tight deadlines • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent analytical skills • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 • Ability to work independently with limited oversight and support • Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace • Paralegal certificate or legal contract experience a plus • Experience with forestry, construction, recreation infrastructure, or habitat improvement projects a plus • Knowledge of natural resource issues and/or the USDA Forest Service preferred • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
