Descrição

• Support engineering activities for renewable and transmission projects within the Engineering and Construction department • Provide power system analysis, steady-state and dynamic modeling, and generation and transmission planning for wind, solar, battery energy storage, and stand-alone transmission/substation projects • Provide technical expertise for generation interconnection processes and operational requirements • Create and validate PSSE, PSLF, and PSCAD models for solar, wind, and battery projects • Perform and review steady-state, dynamic, short-circuit, and other power system analyses • Monitor changing interconnection requirements and advise stakeholders on expected impacts • Assess compliance with IBR standards and regional modeling requirements • Develop software tools that enhance system reliability and organizational efficiency • Interface with ISOs, utilities, municipalities, and regulatory agencies regarding new interconnections • Prepare communications and presentations and conduct meetings • Plan and organize projects • Provide technical support to lower-level professionals • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering • 4+ years of relevant experience • Experience with power system analysis tools including PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, TSAT, and GE PSLF • Strong understanding of power flow, stability, voltage regulation, and reactive support • Strong organizational and communication skills • Valid non-CDL driver’s license • Certified Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
