Descrição

• Lead the engineering effort for new and ongoing substation projects. • Support multiple projects simultaneously. • Work closely with NV5 Substation Engineering leadership to ensure project success. • Work in small project teams to provide exceptional customer service and quality in deliverables.

🎯 Requisitos

• 15+ years of experience in the Substation/Power Delivery field. • Experience with high voltage substation design (12kV through 500kV). • Ability to interpret and apply standards including IEEE, IEC, NESC, and client standards. • Strong preference for those with excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, great organizational skills, proactive and forward-thinking individuals. • Experience with power system calculations (AC station service, DC battery sizing, and Voltage Drop/Cable Selection) is a plus. • Experience with relay settings is a plus. • Knowledge of substation physical equipment is a plus. • Knowledge of Protection and Controls design is a must. • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. • PE license is a must.
