Descrição

• Design, scale, and performance-tune GraphQL APIs, low-latency gRPC services, and SQL queries powering casino lobby, game launch, and real-money wagering flows • Own high-scope, complex technical problems; draft proposals and present them to leadership and partner teams • Design, architect, and deliver features and game provider integrations end-to-end in an agile/scrum environment • Identify production bottlenecks and risks and drive scalability improvements • Set up and refine DataDog monitoring and alerting for owned systems • Mentor engineers through specifications, pairing, and code review • Support other duties as required

🎯 Requisitos

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering • 2+ years of experience building applications in Elixir required • 2+ years of experience designing and evolving GraphQL schemas • Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, distributed systems, algorithms, and software design • Experience with production systems at scale, load testing, and tracing • Experience investigating and remediating CPU hotspots and latency regressions in high-throughput services • Experience with on-call rotations and owning release cycles end-to-end • Strong software architecture and software craftsmanship knowledge • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience authoring technical specifications, runbooks, and cross-team design documents • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments • Comfortable with terminal environments, Git, GitHub or similar, and code editors • Experience with testing frameworks such as ExUnit, RSpec, Jest, pytest, or equivalent • Experience with background job processing such as Oban, Exq, Sidekiq, Celery, or Beanstalk • Experience with asynchronous event handling infrastructure such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub
