Descrição

• Architect and scale the reinforcement learning environments platform and underlying infrastructure required to support data collection at scale • Build and operate scalable backend services, APIs, and data-generation pipelines • Develop modular environment domains that integrate directly with model training and evaluation workflows • Translate research requirements and prototypes into reliable, production-quality systems • Build intuitive full-stack tools and interfaces supporting research, engineering, and operational workflows • Design resilient systems focused on reliability, observability, performance, maintainability, and security • Develop and maintain data models, storage systems, and platform integrations • Improve platform architecture and engineering practices to increase developer velocity and system quality • Partner with Research, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define technical requirements and advance a shared roadmap • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture and system-design decisions • Diagnose complex system issues and drive technical problems through resolution • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while helping establish a high standard for engineering quality

🎯 Requisitos

• Remote, United States-based role • Experienced full-stack engineer with deep strength in backend systems and platform architecture • 6+ years of professional experience building full-stack applications, backend systems, distributed systems, or platform infrastructure • Deep proficiency in TypeScript, React, and modern backend architecture • Strong experience designing and building scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, data modeling, distributed systems, and system design • Demonstrated experience building and operating production systems on AWS or GCP • Experience developing reliable, observable, and performant production systems • Ability to translate research or product requirements into maintainable technical architectures and implementations • Experience with model training, model evaluation, reinforcement learning environments, AI agents, or data-generation systems is preferred • Strong understanding of software engineering practices, including testing, code review, technical documentation, and production operations • Sharp problem-solving capabilities and the ability to diagnose complex issues across the technology stack • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across functions and geographies • Strong written and verbal communication skills • U.S. citizenship is required
