Descrição

• Build and scale Rula’s patient-facing mobile applications • Own end-to-end delivery of features across iOS and Android using React Native • Partner with Product, Design, and backend engineers to create intuitive, reliable experiences • Evolve the mobile architecture • Improve engineering quality through testing and performance optimization • Ship mobile features from design through release and monitoring • Own projects from design through delivery and make tradeoffs • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners, surfacing risks and contributing to clear scope and estimates • Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing • Contribute to the long-term success of Rula’s mobile platform

🎯 Requisitos

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building production mobile applications • 3+ years of experience with React Native, TypeScript, and modern React development • Experience shipping mobile features end-to-end from design through release and monitoring • Working knowledge of native iOS using Swift/Objective-C and Android using Kotlin/Java • Experience owning projects from design through delivery, making tradeoffs, and communicating rationale • Ability to collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners, surface risks early, and contribute to clear scope and estimates • Ability to mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing • Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, including articulating acceleration benefits, risks, and the need for human judgment • Must be based in the United States; Rula is currently not hiring in Hawaii • Preferred: experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play • Preferred: experience with mobile CI/CD and automated release pipelines • Preferred: experience building AI-powered or LLM-enabled mobile features • Preferred: familiarity with mobile observability and crash reporting tools such as Datadog, Crashlytics, and Sentry • Preferred: experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
