Descrição

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting BMC3 software development for the PWSA, ensuring effective integration of cloud-hosted environments with mission-critical space applications. • Drive all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. • Develop and optimize the secure software hosting environment to ensure high performance and resilience for SDA’s mission applications. • Provide technical oversight and leadership in the integration of software components, ensuring compatibility with both space and ground system architectures. • Troubleshoot complex issues in development, testing, and operational environments, including addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities and mission-critical system challenges. • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements that enhance capabilities and system security. • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative culture that emphasizes innovation and technical growth.

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field. • - Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience in software and hardware development, integration, and operations. • - Demonstrated expertise in the full software development lifecycle and software methodologies, including Agile development practices. • - Strong technical knowledge of software architecture, cloud computing, and secure hosting environments. • - Proficiency in Object Oriented programming languages. • - Active security clearance (minimum Secret level, TS/SCI preferred). • - Leadership or management experience in a technical capacity supporting large-scale, multi-disciplinary programs. • ****Desired Experience and Certifications:** • - Experience with the development and deployment of DevSecOps pipelines in a cloud environment. • - Working knowledge of space communication protocols, standards, and frameworks. • - Strong understanding of cybersecurity and associated frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF).
