Descrição

• Lead the Preconstruction Group’s daily management and coordinate successful completion of project scope, budget, and schedule from notice of award to project mobilization • Manage project meetings • Perform cost comparisons • Update project schedules • Manage contract exhibits through execution • Conduct strategic buyout negotiations as needed to maintain budget • Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements • Prepare billings and expedite payments • Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system • Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids • Write project procedures • Review plans for completeness and accuracy • Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff • Ensure procurement activities align with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules • Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal departments to create contract scopes of work • Track design constraints, material lead times, and changes impacting schedule or budget • Define and create LNTPs • Research project-specific design, owner/contract, internal, and permit requirements • Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings • Support estimating reconciliation for each design iteration • Maintain cost forecasting, estimated cost at completion, and timely project reporting • Manage project risk and prepare mitigation plans • Develop relationships and partnership strategies with owners, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors • Support Operations and Contracts Teams in negotiating final EPC budget, scope, and schedule • Communicate final scope of work with Procurement, Operations, and Business Partners • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requisitos

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience • Thorough understanding of plans and specifications • 5-8 years of field experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent • Leadership ability in a remote environment • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Organizational skills and strong people skills • Strong computer skills with MS Office suite and industry-standard tools such as Bluebeam Revu • Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting • Detail-oriented, motivated self-starter • Able to travel, estimated 25% • 5+ years of construction experience • 2+ years of scheduling and estimating experience • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future
