Descrição

• Assist the Compliance Department in the implementation of the Company’s Compliance program • Research and advise on federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations that impact SVG agencies including but not limited to HIPAA and TCPA • Provide other legal research as assigned by the General Counsel • Conduct contract reviews and draft legal documents as assigned by the General Counsel • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with established legal principles and requirements • Escalate compliance and privacy concerns to the General Counsel • Provide oversight in assessing product, compliance, privacy or operational risks and contribute to risk management strategies • Assist in the management of litigation as needed • Contribute to the annual Compliance Work Plan • Maintain an expert-level knowledge of compliance trends and applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations to ensure compliance practices are maintained and upheld • Other job duties as assigned.

🎯 Requisitos

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with admittance to at least one state bar in good standing • Minimum of 5 years of similar or related experience • Law License in at least one state • Healthcare Compliance, Privacy Certifications are a plus • Thorough understanding and knowledge of HIPAA and TCPA • Prior experience in health insurance compliance • Strong attention to detail • Acute listening skills • Excellent legal research skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to record detailed information thoroughly and accurately • Ability to work independently and with coworkers and share knowledge as part of a team • Well-developed interpersonal skills • Ability to get along well in diverse cultures with diverse personalities whether local or virtual • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive as well as responsive —and able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities • Self-motivated.
