Descrição

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients • Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions and briefs in support of defense strategies without supervision because of level of experience and expertise • Demonstrated expertise in various practice areas across personal and commercial lines of business including Motor Vehicle, Premises, Labor Law, and Products Liability • Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issues • Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings, arbitrations and alternative dispute resolutions • Leverage trial experience and litigation skills to drive favorable negotiated settlements • Comply with Litigation Management Guidelines • Responsible for the prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases • Establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with the Court, the Bar, within the office and with external business partners • Demonstrate strategic thinking, operational excellence, and positive leadership • Utilize Generative Artificial Intelligence tools to generate content in support of decision-making and recommendations • Provide legal opinions to Managing Attorney, Assistant Managing Attorney, clients and claims customers • Mentor and coach staff

🎯 Requisitos

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in New York State required • Member in good standing of New York State Bar • Knowledge of New York Supreme Courts • Insurance Defense: minimum 15+ years of significant, relevant trial experience required • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple duties and time are a must • Strong communication skills – written and verbal • Strong computer and technological skills • Self-motivated to achieve high standards and continuously improve • Possess agile, growth mindset with willingness to learn and develop • Demonstrate Expense discipline • Demonstrated integrity while building trust with our clients, claim professional teammates, attorney colleagues, and support team members • Able to travel to and handle cases venue in Westchester and Rockland Counties is a plus • Admitted to practice in Federal Courts is a plus
