Descrição

• Work on a variety of control system projects • Lead individual project-related tasks and complicated large-scale projects in their entirety • Provide engineering support on projects and tasks led by others • Assume ultimate responsibility for assigned projects and tasks • Take direction and seek guidance from project leads, supervisors, and company leadership • Lead and assist with start-up and commissioning of control systems • Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) • Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams • Provide feedback regarding field conditions versus drawings • Work with HMI and PLC applications • Provide review of standard documents generated by others • Provide instrumentation specifications for complex control systems • Support control system integration involving IT systems, network infrastructure, and computer system design • Communicate effectively, positively, and proactively with customers and trade partners • Follow customer-specific site standards and procedures • Provide customer care and support, resolve problems, follow up, and honor commitments • Complete assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and under budget • Understand assigned scope of work and escalate issues beyond scope to the project lead • Lead individual project-related tasks and small to mid-sized projects • Serve as the customer’s main contact on assigned projects • Anticipate project issues and proactively plan solutions • Seek opportunities for new work with customers and contractors • Deliver detailed feedback on projects and task assignments • Understand project contracts and specifications • Identify and manage risks • Direct and oversee junior or subordinate staff where applicable • Seek additional business through change orders, additional services, referrals, and new projects • Promote a positive atmosphere and support colleagues • Take ownership of customer needs and over-communicate • Foster integrity, trust, collaboration, professionalism, and leading by example

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or other pertinent curriculum combined with relevant technical experience • Typically 4+ years total experience • 2+ years as Lead Control Systems Engineer or equivalent • Completely self-sufficient in the field • Experience leading and assisting with start-up and commissioning of control systems • Experience leading and performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) • Experience reading and interpreting piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams • Ability to provide feedback regarding field conditions versus drawings • Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications • Deep understanding of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) • Ability to review standard documents for technical, grammatical, and aesthetic content • Firm understanding of complex control system design • Ability to provide instrumentation specifications for complex control systems • Thorough understanding of IT systems, network infrastructure, and computer system design as related to control system integration • Decisive decision-making • Ability to build customer relationships • Initiative to seek new responsibilities • Ability to use resources efficiently • Ability to promote a positive/collaborative team culture • Overnight travel may be required up to 50% • Participation in an on-call rotation may be required based on location and client needs • Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located • Maintain a valid driver’s license • Fit for Duty at all times
