Descrição

• Own the monthly financial close across three entities • Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements within a defined close calendar • Build, document, and manage a detailed step-by-step close process • Write Accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Clean up historical accounting records, including misclassified entries, missing accruals, and unsupported balances • Build supporting schedules for remediated records • Lead the accounting transition from QuickBooks to Sage Intacct • Define the chart of accounts, validate migrated data, and develop system workflows • Perform monthly bank reconciliations across all accounts • Reconcile billing and vendor payments using PEPM formulas and enrolled member counts • Manage financial reporting and reconciliation for approximately 60 self-funded employer groups • Reconcile claims disbursement activity to plan trust accounts • Manage and mentor the accounting team • Oversee AP/AR functions • Provide executive-level financial analysis and variance commentary

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience • At least 2+ years in a Controller or equivalent role managing a full-cycle, multi-entity close • Demonstrated experience correcting and cleaning up historical accounting records • Demonstrated experience building SOPs from scratch • Strong command of GAAP, accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and intercompany eliminations • Advanced Excel skills • Proven experience migrating or implementing accounting systems • Experience in insurance, Third-Party Administration (TPA), managed care, or employee benefits is highly preferred • Experience with self-funded health plans is highly preferred • CPA is strongly preferred • Prior experience with Sage Intacct is a massive plus
