Descrição

• Support a large-scale, multi-phase construction program in Southern New Mexico • Serve as a day-to-day stakeholder interface throughout the project lifecycle • Estimate and negotiate change orders across project phases and work packages • Provide cost estimates and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans • Review and participate in cost estimate development with the design services team and general contractor • Reconcile changes and validate general contractor data • Meet with the general contractor, project manager, and stakeholders to gather status information and prepare estimate updates • Prepare written comments and executive summaries on contractor submissions • Coordinate cost information from suppliers, subcontractors, quantities, and design teams • Inform engineering priorities based on cost impact • Resolve scheduling issues proactively with minimal supervision • Manage cost checks, valuations, cost impact assessments, contingency management, and commitment tracking • Prepare funding data presentations and coordinate value engineering sessions • Develop and update cost plans and estimates through design milestones • Provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering • Review contractor and subcontractor pricing and lead client-side negotiations • Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management • Manage cost variances, change control, cost auditing, valuation, and cost validation processes • Produce monthly cost reports for client presentation • Negotiate and agree final accounts in a timely manner • Compile built cost estimate records for benchmarking • Identify, coach, and mentor talent • Provide leadership and service delivery in line with appointment conditions • Track commission margins, fee/resource forecasts, and financial reports using internal software • Implement internal business management systems, delivery methodologies, and tools • Promote a one-business culture and adhere to applicable SOX controls

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a construction-related field • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience within the construction industry • Experience leading cost management on medium to large, moderately to highly complex construction projects • Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred • RICS accreditation or active progress toward accreditation preferred • Knowledge of construction technical matters, procurement routes, value management, and value engineering • Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or campus-style construction programs preferred • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to operate in a client-facing environment • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders • Occasional travel to the project site • On-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs
