Descrição

• Support a large-scale, multi-phase construction program in Southern New Mexico • Serve as a day-to-day stakeholder interface • Manage project costs, commercial oversight, and financial controls throughout the project lifecycle • Estimate and negotiate change orders across multiple project phases and work packages • Provide estimate and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans • Review and participate in cost estimate development with design services teams and general contractors • Reconcile changes and verify general contractor data accuracy • Gather project status information and prepare cost estimate updates • Prepare written comments and executive summaries on contractor submissions • Coordinate cost information from suppliers, subcontractors, quantity data, and design teams • Drive engineering priorities based on cost impact • Resolve scheduling issues proactively • Manage cost checks and valuations on larger projects • Participate in post-contract cost variance and change control processes • Manage cost impact assessments, contingency management, and commitment tracking logs • Prepare funding data presentations and coordinate value engineering sessions • Develop and update cost plans and estimates through design milestones • Provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering • Review contractor and subcontractor pricing and lead client negotiations • Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management • Maintain cost auditing and cost validation processes • Produce monthly cost reports for client presentation • Negotiate and agree final accounts in a timely manner • Compile built cost estimate records for benchmarking • Identify, coach, and mentor talent • Track margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts using internal software • Maintain Business Management Systems and delivery methodologies • Adhere to applicable SOX control responsibilities

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a field related to construction • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role within the construction industry • RICS accredited or actively working toward accreditation is preferred • Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of moderate to high complexity • Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred • Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering • Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or campus-style construction programs is preferred • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Client-facing experience • On-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs
