Descrição

• Drive a large-scale, multi-phase data center construction program in the Greater El Paso area • Serve as a key day-to-day stakeholder interface • Manage costs, commercial oversight, and financial controls throughout the project lifecycle • Estimate and negotiate change orders across project phases and work packages • Provide estimate and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans • Review and participate in design team and general contractor cost estimate development • Reconcile changes and verify general contractor data accuracy • Gather project status information and prepare cost estimate updates • Prepare written comments and executive summaries on contractor submissions • Coordinate cost information from suppliers, subcontractors, quantities, and design teams • Inform engineering priorities based on cost impact • Resolve scheduling issues proactively with minimal supervision • Manage cost checks, valuations, cost impact assessments, contingency management, and commitment tracking • Prepare funding data presentations and coordinate value engineering sessions • Develop and update cost plans and estimates through design milestones • Provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering • Review contractor and subcontractor pricing and lead client-side negotiations • Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management • Manage post-contract cost variances, change control, cost auditing, and valuation processes • Produce monthly cost reports for client presentation • Negotiate and agree final accounts promptly • Compile built cost estimate records for benchmarking • Identify, coach, and mentor talent • Provide leadership and service delivery aligned with appointment conditions • Track margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts using internal software • Maintain internal Business Management Systems, delivery methodologies, and tools • Adhere to applicable SOX control responsibilities

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a field related to construction • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role within the construction industry • RICS accredited or actively working toward accreditation is preferred • Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of moderate to high complexity • Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred • Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering • Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or campus-style construction programs is preferred • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Remote work requires being a local professional in the Greater El Paso area, with occasional travel to the project site • On-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs
