Descrição

• Lead and grow one or more engineering teams responsible for a critical area of the Upstart Bank platform • Drive execution across complex, bank-critical systems in areas such as ledgering and funding, deposits and payments, reporting, or integrations • Partner with Product, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Finance, and Operations to translate business and regulatory needs into technical plans and delivered software • Contribute to technical direction and architecture for your area, ensuring systems support reliability, resilience, security, traceability, and auditability • Manage cross-functional dependencies and improve the predictability and quality of delivery across teams • Build engineering processes that support internal controls, audits, change management, and reliable operation in a regulated environment • Hire, coach, and develop engineers and emerging engineering leaders • Foster a culture of rigor, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years of engineering management experience • Experience leading engineering teams through complex, cross-functional platform or infrastructure initiatives • Strong technical background with experience contributing to architecture and technical direction for distributed systems, cloud platforms, or business-critical infrastructure • Experience operating in regulated, high-control, or high-reliability environments where quality, controls, auditability, and change management are critical.
