Descrição

• Support the quality, reliability, and performance of Varicent's Incentives application • Perform manual testing for new features and bug fixes • Validate API responses and test database interactions • Identify, document, prioritize, and report defects in JIRA or similar tools • Re-test fixed defects and perform regression testing before releases • Test simple defects independently and contribute to medium-size projects with guidance • Create happy-path and negative tests from requirements • Determine scope and priority of test cases and provide assignment estimates • Collaborate with QA and development peers and escalate problems to leads • Identify QA process inefficiencies and suggest improvements • Stay current on QA trends and tools • Familiarize yourself with the product, team structure, and development workflow during onboarding • Write and execute test cases for client bugs, small features, or modules • Provide feedback on onboarding processes and QA workflows

🎯 Requisitos

• 0–2 years of experience • Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies, including manual testing • Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA or Postman • Basic understanding of REST APIs and database testing • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Good understanding of product functionality and architecture and how it fits into the business • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams • B2 level English or higher is required
