Descrição

• Develop new features and enhancements for Vultr's storage product portfolio, focusing on reliability, performance, scalability, and customer needs • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define technical requirements and influence product direction • Oversee day-to-day operational health of storage platforms, including troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis • Build reference implementations and deliver technical documentation, training materials, and onboarding resources • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, product evaluations, and performance testing of storage features • Develop and improve automation tools for operational efficiency and deployment • Create and maintain knowledge articles and runbooks for engineering, support, and sales teams • Promote best practices in storage design, deployment, and operations internally and with customers • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform Vultr’s storage product roadmap

🎯 Requisitos

• 8+ years’ experience in storage systems engineering, combining product development, enablement, and operational responsibilities • Proven background building and managing distributed storage products, preferably with Ceph or similar platforms • Strong proficiency with Linux systems and scripting, including Python and Bash • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and containerization technologies, including KVM and Kubernetes • Demonstrated expertise in technical documentation, enablement, and training • Ability to help define technical requirements with cross-functional teams • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship is currently or prospectively required
