Descrição

• Collaborate with Engineering teams to research and develop new features, respond to technical debt, and improve application performance • Design, develop, and maintain storage-related contributions to the PHP control plane • Integrate Python orchestration code to manage and automate cloud storage operations • Contribute to the open-source Ceph project to ensure reliability, performance, and feature quality • Design and contribute to cloud provider solutions for high-performance computing, AI training, and inference workloads • Develop Object, Block, and File storage solutions • Collaborate with internal and external teams to support the resourcing and deployment of new features • Optimize and refactor existing codebases for performance and maintainability

🎯 Requisitos

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on storage or distributed systems • Proficiency in PHP and Python with experience developing control plane and orchestration code • Understanding of cloud storage architectures and technologies • Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems • Experience with distributed systems and networking fundamentals • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience contributing to or maintaining large open-source projects, preferably Ceph • Strong belief in documentation as a core aspect of engineering • Experience with Linux and/or BSD • Experience with Puppet and Ansible • Experience with Ceph deployment, configuration, and optimization • Experience with Test Driven Development • Knowledge of Go or Lua is advantageous • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines • Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs • Legally authorized to work in the United States
