Description

• Work on internal 1kx projects, as well as 1k community contribution projects • Internal projects include backend and distributed systems, supporting a large portfolio of 1kx investments • Community contributions include 'common good' projects • Engage with the crypto community, build your personal network, and participate in hackathons • Moderate amount of travel is required • Work closely with portfolio projects to understand their infrastructure needs and provide tailored solutions

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience across multiple software stacks • Generalist rather than a specialist • Problem solving ability • Quick learner: use new tools, adopt new development products quickly • Comfortable using LLMs to quickly learn new aspects of the tech stack • Experience developing backend applications, ideally distributed systems • Comfortable with 10-20% of DevOps work: AWS, GCP, Terraform, Linux administration, both in cloud and bare metal • Slight plus if you have experience building Web3 applications
