Description
• Create and manage data assets for medical device safety and efficacy • Manage structured and unstructured clinical data and terminology mapping • Data cleansing, de-identification, and normalization operations • Ensure data integrity and quality • Coordinate data operations processes with suppliers and customers • Hands-on data analysis • Communicate results to internal and external stakeholders • Contribute to knowledge of data mining and visualization best practices
Requirements
• A four year degree or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst (or similar) in a healthcare or research setting • Healthcare data terminology and interoperability domain expertise (e.g., EHR/EMR data standards and workflows, HL7, OMOP, SNOMED, RxNorm, ICD-10, CPT4, etc…) • Strong understanding of Relational Databases and Data Warehouses • Experience with SQL, Python, and R or equivalent required • Experience with data analytics software (Snowflake, Looker, etc…) • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
