β’ ActiveProspect is seeking a Sales Director for our (Higher Ed) Education vertical β’ Responsible for all aspects of growing specific categories within the vertical including sales, partnerships, marketing, and events β’ Own all new customer development activities and quota achievement for your area β’ Responsible for defining and executing various sales strategies for your prospects and the market as a whole β’ Networking and talking to prospects - lead buyers, lead sellers, and service providers to improve understanding of the landscape β’ Track industry trade shows and select appropriate events for the company that you will attend β’ Build and maintain relationships with key contacts in the industry β’ Work closely with the client success team members ensuring all new customers are properly on-boarded and retained β’ Be an ambassador for the company, our technology, and the thought leadership that we are creating in the industry
β’ 2-10 years of complex enterprise SaaS Education Tech and/or lead generation space selling experience β’ Ability to take a Vertical from having customers to growing it into a key market for the organization β’ Ability to show consistent achievement of enterprise sales quota β’ Experience managing enterprise sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting β’ Strong ability to communicate value propositioning for complex enterprise SaaS technology β’ Displays a positive attitude β’ Demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work β’ Show initiative for learning by seeking out answers to daily technical challenges β’ Sets high standards of performance for oneself β’ Establishes good working relationships with team members β’ Appreciates each team member's contributions and values each individual member β’ Ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team growing rapidly β’ Strives to help the team succeed, even when it means working outside the job description β’ Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
