📋 Description
• Lead core month-end close activities which includes transaction coding, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation—to ensure timely, accurate reporting. • Manage daily accounting operations such as invoice processing, data sync troubleshooting, documentation upkeep, and responding to team/vendor inquiries. • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, maintaining completeness and audit-ready accuracy. • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that reduce manual work and enhance reporting speed and quality. • Partner with cross-functional teams on data flows, operational reporting, external tax reporting, and other finance projects. • Maintain detailed, organized records to support leadership decision-making and long-term financial planning.
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of accounting experience (generalist preferred), ideally within ecommerce or small/medium-sized US companies • Proficiency in NetSuite (required) • Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience preparing and analyzing financial statements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and comfort working in a fast-paced, remote, international environment • Excellent written and spoken communication (English)
