Description

• Create new micro services on AWS Lambda • Handle large data sets processing • Create publicly facing API's • Contribute to amberflo SDK's • Troubleshoot production issues with observability tools

Requirements

• You are an experienced, self-starter backend engineer that is passionate about modern technology and cloud-native software architecture. • You have 3+ years of experience building microservices with Java and/or NodeJS. • You have experience with AWS technologies such as S3, SQS, RDS, and Lambda, and hands-on experience using and developing the following: designing REST APIs; data pipelines using timeseries data, DynamoDB, and Athena; CI/CD with cloud formations; unit tests and mocking frameworks; payments/billing solutions • You are disciplined in your approach to writing quality code, backed by best practices and years of hands-on experience. • You have a bias towards moving fast and making things happen. You are looking to take ownership and make an immediate impact. • You have an understanding of the concept of a metering service as it relates to underpinning usage-based pricing and billing infrastructure. • You work well as part of a team. You have experience mentoring junior team members, you collaborate well, share and receive constructive feedback, and are not afraid to stand up for what you believe in.
