Description
• Drive federal and state income tax compliance for 15,000+ funds • Perform technical reviews of work • Sanity check work that has been automated • Identify and resolve tax-related exceptions • Address investor questions • Help develop less experienced tax team members • Define tax rules to arrive at outputs for tax reporting • Participate in product testing • Identify opportunities to improve tax department efficiency and service offerings
Requirements
• 10+ years of tax experience in asset management sector • Experience in venture capital or private equity • Experience with federal partnership returns • Knowledge of compliance obligations • Deep experience with process improvement and automation
