• About Association Hero • Association Hero is a fast-growing, profitable US-based software startup building Careerplex, a career center platform for trade and professional associations. • Our platform includes: • Consumer Software: A white-label career center that associations can brand as their own, providing members with a premium job board experience. • B2B Software: An app designed for associations to efficiently manage their career centers, streamline operations, and deliver better services to members. • Position Overview • We are seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong background in designing both consumer and business-facing software products. In this role, you will be a key member of our cross-functional product team, responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences and interfaces. You will gain a deep understanding of our business, customers, and product needs, be involved in the design and decision-making process, and work independently to deliver high-quality design solutions. • Responsibilities • Design and Develop User Interfaces: Create high-quality UI designs, prototypes, and visual assets that align with our product vision and brand identity. • Information Architecture: Develop and refine information architecture, user flows, and navigation to create intuitive and efficient user experiences. • User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations. • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and effective implementation. • Establish and Maintain Design Systems: Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across the product. • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, and apply them as appropriate. • Advocate for the User: Empathize with end-users and advocate for their needs throughout the design and development process.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field. • Experience: 5+ years of UI/UX design experience. • Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design, information architecture, and typography. • Technical Skills: • Proficiency in Figma. • Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML/CSS is a plus. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. • Soft Skills: • Ability to gain a deep understanding of business, customer, and product needs. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Excellent time-management and organizational skills. • Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in agile development environments. • General design and branding skills. • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
