There's an increasing demand for the services we provide, which is why our team of HR pros continues to grow in size and as a collective brain trust. Who You Are & What We Need: You are an experienced Benefits Administrator, who can take the helm in orchestrating and optimizing a comprehensive suite of employee benefits programs for the clients that we serve. Your pivotal responsibilities will encompass the seamless coordination of diverse benefits initiatives, spanning health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and an array of enticing employee perks. We're seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication prowess, and a genuine dedication to enhancing employee satisfaction and well-being. Although we have a few needs from time to time for those wanting to work evenings or weekends, most of our project needs require being available during usual business hours to support our clients and meet their business needs. This means, you’d need to be readily available to tackle an issue, a call or other as needed. This position is fractional work, meaning hours will vary week to week and there may be weeks or more where there is no work at all to send your way and you’re ok with this. In addition, this is a remote opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits • Coordinate with benefit providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of enrollments and claims • Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements and document benefit related processes • Assist in the development and implementation of employee wellness programs and initiatives • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in benefits administration

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in benefits administration or a closely related position, illustrating practical expertise. • Demonstrated proficiency in navigating complex employee benefits programs, encompassing health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. • Exceptional communication prowess, both verbal and written, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders. • Meticulous attention to detail, complemented by robust organizational and time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. • If you’re ok working under our name and brand and you’re about helping APW grow and scale in a fractional capacity, we’d like to hear from you.
