Description

• Research, design, develop, and own solutions that facilitate communications with 1 million plus Automox agents deployed globally • Lead by example by championing software development best practices, and writing well-designed code • Extend, enhance, and evolve event-driven services to provide new and exciting features in the Automox platform and in our endpoint software • Contribute to continual improvement by testing, performance tuning, refactoring, usability improvements, and automation • Produce detailed specifications, and contribute in all phases of the engineering lifecycle • Operate with a quality-first mindset • Make data-driven decisions • Programming experience in Golang or Java is required • 2+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and monitoring applications deployed in a high availability SaaS environment • Experience building production applications in cloud environments (AWS or GCP) • Experience working as a Software Engineer on applications with continuous client connectivity is desired • Enjoy scaling microservice architectures and large-scale event ingestion platforms • Have familiarity scaling websockets, real-time messaging systems (Kafka, MQTT), and non-relational database systems (DynamoDB), networking, DevOps
