• Identify priority states using disability population data, waiver program structures, and state-funded technology support mechanisms. • Develop relationships with state Medicaid and disability-services leadership, waiver administrators, program directors, and assistive technology coordinators. • Secure invitations for Bark to apply or register within relevant state-funded programs. • Manage early-stage conversations related to enrollment, approval, and pathway development. • Engage managed care organizations, provider associations, county networks, and related partners. • Present Bark’s safety and independence-support capabilities to leadership across disability and family-support programs. • Establish awareness and eligibility pathways that allow for county-level adoption and family access. • Coordinate internally to complete required applications, documentation, and regulatory steps for each state. • Develop scalable playbooks for launching new waiver programs, including county activation sequences, communication flows, and partner engagement plans. • Track progress from initial outreach to program readiness and statewide availability. • Partner with Marketing, Compliance, Sales Operations, and Sales for effective collaboration and implementation of programs.
• Four to seven years of experience in Medicaid-focused business development, disability-services program management, assistive technology, state government relations, or similar public-sector environments. • Experience working with Medicaid waivers, disability-services programs, assistive technology funding, or children’s programs within state systems. • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with state-level program administrators, managed care leadership, and disability-provider networks. • Strong communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex programs for diverse audiences. • Experience managing long and multi-stakeholder approval processes in public-sector or regulated environments. • High autonomy, strong judgment, and the ability to manage complex workflows independently. • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
