📋 Description

• Develop and advocate for policies that support clean distributed generation • Represent Bloom Energy in front of ranking state and local policymakers across multiple markets • Proactively search for and/or advocate for policy initiatives that represent new business opportunities • Communicate the economic, environmental, and social benefits of non-combustion technologies, energy resiliency, and renewable fuels like biogas and hydrogen • Manage regulatory processes including monitoring regulatory developments, defining policy strategy, and drafting and submitting public comments • Conduct and effectively report policy analysis to support Bloom’s multi-state policy and regulatory team

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years professional experience • Experience in energy and/or utility policy • Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills under time pressure • Ability to thrive in dynamic work environment • Understanding of regulatory processes in relevant jurisdictions • Familiarity with clean energy issues including distributed generation, microgrids, utilities, alternative fuels, etc. • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
