Description

• Blue Orange Digital is looking for an experienced Data Engineer • Work with the team and stakeholders to define data source, accuracy, and validation requirements • Build, maintain, and data ingestions, data models, orchestrations, transformations, and validation tests • Work with source data systems to extract and prepare data for analytics and testing • Work with technical and business teams to evolve the data architecture • Work within an Agile environment to constantly deliver value for clients • And other requests as directed by your manager

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role • Experience in ETL, data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouses, pipelines, modeling, and data quality validation • Expert experience with data ingestion, modeling, and conformance/compliance validation • Expert-level skills in SQL, statistical analysis, and data validation • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure • Interacts with others using sound judgment and a steady professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment • BA or BS degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g.: computer science, statistics) • Excellent verbal and written English communication • Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically corporate loan processing, risk and reporting experience a plus • R, Python, Scala, SPSS, Teradata, SAS, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker pluses
