Description

• Perform full-cycle accounting responsibilities to include monthly consolidated financial statements, account and bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and general ledger entries. • Manage month-end close process, internal and external reporting to investors, and annual audits. • Maintain periodic reports summarizing business and financial activities. • Assist with various regulatory reporting requirements. • Perform ad-hoc analysis and research. • Month-end close, including consolidation process, in collaboration with our Staff Accountant and Director of Finance for both our Title and Underwriter business units • Compiling and issuing various financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders • Responsible for in-house bookkeeping and assisting People Operations with running payroll • Responsible for daily review of AR, Underwriter splits, premiums share, and other invoice items and monthly COGS reporting • Completing back-office functions of both accounts payable and accounts receivable • Preparing and assisting with management reports, including daily revenue and monthly department budget reports • Process improvement – ensuring strong controls and accurate accounting across various technical topics

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and professional accounting designation preferred • 3-5 years of accounting experience • Intermediate knowledge of QBO • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP • Advanced Excel skills • Real estate or insurance industry experience would be an asset
