📋 Description

• Provide diabetes education support to patients with the goal of improving adherence and health outcomes • Quickly establish rapport and therapeutic alliances via phone with a diverse population of patients • Produce behavior change among patients using motivational interviewing techniques • Present online webinars • Consistently meet call metrics while also meeting quality requirements • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) • Fluent in Spanish • Proven experience utilizing motivational interviewing to provide positive behavior change • Ability to receive constructive feedback and incorporate it into patient calls to drive performance • Home office for private patient conversation along with high-speed internet • Comfortable utilizing advanced technology (Electronic Medical Records, Microsoft Office, scripting applications, device data, etc.) • Demonstrated ability to recognize patient needs and adapt communication techniques for a diverse patient population • Flexible schedule with a commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week
