📋 Description

• Custom Property Western Region (CPWR) – Account Executive. • Crum & Forster Insurance Brokers, Inc. is looking for an Account Executive. • The selected candidate will service and market Seneca products throughout the West Coast region. • Candidates who currently hold a Property & Casualty license are strongly preferred. • The candidate must be qualified to obtain a Surplus Lines Brokers License in California and in other states. • Maintain P&C Brokers License & Surplus Lines Brokers License in California and in other various states. • Consistently applies guidelines for risk selection / rejection, pricing, retention, growth and profitability per objectives (New Business & Renewals). • Analyzes coverage and limit requests for acceptability and determines terms to offer. Prices business in accordance with company guidelines. • Within the framework of the CFIBI Limited Binding Authority, applies solid judgement and initiative to support business goals. • Maintains profitability and results-oriented discipline by consistently implementing CFIBI’s risk acceptability standards and book management philosophy. • Remain within designated authority and seek approval as needed. • Documenting files appropriately with complete analytical thought process. • Verify risk information and prior claims history. • Receives Loss Control Reports, assesses risk quality and compliance within company guidelines and initiates appropriate loss prevention recommendations and follow ups. • Develops and maintains effective business relationships, providing excellent customer service to brokers in order to attract and retain profitable business. • Places facultative reinsurance according to division guidelines.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of Property Underwriting Experience (5+ preferred) • Experience working with wholesale brokers • Excellent technical and marketing skills required • Knowledge of market and regulatory environment • Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills required • College degree or equivalent is preferred. ARM and CPCU designations are a plus.
