Description

• Join Cheqroom as a Senior Software Engineer to lead innovative product development • Play a key role in the full product lifecycle across our tech stack • Collaborate with development managers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify business requirements • Independently break down, estimate, design, plan, and deliver medium to large-sized features • Implement high-quality solutions by writing unit tests and contributing to integration, load, and user acceptance tests • Identify, research, and resolve performance and production issues • Lead technical discussions and stand-ups, coordinate work with other teams • Assist junior engineers with tasks and small projects • Regularly document and communicate progress on design and code

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role in a software company • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience • Strong skills in software architecture and software design principles • Experienced in working with modern development languages and collaborating with engineers and product management teams • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Passionate about digital products and their users • Value clean and readable code and actively look for ways to improve • Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases • Experience with NodeJS, Python or React Typescript • Fluent in English • Bonus: Domain Driven Design, DevOps practices, Docker, AWS, AI, and ML.
