• We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Swedish Speaking Gambling News Writer. • In this role, you will be responsible for covering the topical newsfeed for their publications in collaboration with editorial and SEO support to reach audiences interested in timely, trending events. • This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where prioritization and organizational skills will be helpful. • Writers will source, develop and maintain contacts as part of a strong journalistic research practice. • Staff writers will be responsible for executing SEO strategies as communicated to the newsroom in their work
🎯 Requirements
• 2 or more years of journalistic experience with at least 1 year reporting on the gambling industry • Knowledge of the gambling industry and key entities in primary locations (Sweden). • Bachelors in Journalism, Communications, Or similar degree or experience • A track record of creating timely, accurate, and insightful news • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • English and Swedish as primary languages • Organised, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic • Meticulous attention to detail through proofreading and editing skills • Specialized expertise in finance, business, legal, game theory, or data reporting (preferred) • Experienced researcher and problem solver (preferred) • Connections within the industry for access to quotes, thought leadership (preferred) • Unique adjacent perspectives - pit boss, poker player, handicapper etc. (preferred) • A strong professional social media presence or industry followers (preferred)
