📋 Description
• You'll be deeply involved in all stages of product development, translating user needs and product requirements into robust technical solutions • Working with our distributed search infrastructure, you'll design, develop, and optimize features that directly impact how users interact with our platform • You'll participate in product planning sessions, contribute to design discussions, and help shape the roadmap based on technical feasibility and innovation opportunities • Beyond writing code, you'll collaborate with product and design teams to ensure we're building the right solutions in the right way, balancing user experience with technical performance • Our team is responsible for the full cycle of running our own services including monitoring and maintaining the services in production
🎯 Requirements
• Strong programming skills (we primarily use Python and .NET) • Experience building distributed systems or working with search technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, Lucene or similar platforms • Comfortable working along with stakeholders and thinking through the full product implications of technical decisions • Excellent written communication skills including working on technical design documents, internal and external documentation, and architectural deep dives and diagrams • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, contribute to product strategy, and advocate for both user needs and technical excellence • Nice to Have: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization and orchestration tools, search relevance tuning, or experience in product-driven engineering environments would be beneficial.
